Manukau Institute of Technology
Established in 1970, Manukau Institute of Technology is a largest Category One institute of technology in Auckland, New Zealand. Category One is the highest possible educational rating as evaluated by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority. Manukau Institute of Technology is based out of Manukau in Auckland city. The Institute is recognised as one of New Zealand's top-ranked provider of technical and vocational education. Every year over 20,000 students join a course at Manukau and this includes around 1,000 international students as well. Manukau comprises seven faculties and a school focusing on tertiary studies. The seven faculties cover subjects as diverse as Business, Culinary and Hospitality Studies, Creative Writing, Engineering and Automotive Technology.
